Mouille Point is home to the Mouille Point Promenade, a paved promenade on the coast that is used daily by many Capetonians. It’s situated very near the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (a major tourist hub), Granger Bay to the east, Green Point to the south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the north and west.

Notice the line of automobiles at ocean-front and evidence of low tide. This area remained in ‘rough state’ because when plans were made to construct the promenade it was not included. However, plans were afoot to extend development taking place at the V&A Waterfront, westward, to include Mouille Point and beyond.
