Travel to Macau

My first trip to Macau was in 1986. After entering Hong Kong, I journeyed over to Macau by ferry (hydrofoil) to visit friends and also to explore the historical sites in Tiapa. I would later returned to Macau on two separate occasions during my later visits to Hong Kong. In 2008 I took my son to experience the wonders of Hong Kong Disneyland.

Note: In 1988, by joint Declaration between the Portuguese Republic and the Peoples Republic of China, Macau officially became a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China.
