The Immersive Disney Animation is in Singapore thanks to a partnership between Walt Disney Animation Studios and Base Entertainment Asia, the latter being Asia Pacific’s leading live entertainment company. I attended the show at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, on 24 Nov 2023. All photos and videos were taken by me.

That it was fun being around the little kids, the very young, those able to walk and run around, to see their joy and wonder over the presentation.

However, from an adult perspective, I think the presentation failed to live up to what we expected the quality of a Disney animation to be. I felt they could accomplish a quality projection of animation with high-quality screens rather than the walls’ enclosures. But the immersive exhibits setup, especially children and older Disney fans, to experience first-hand how graphic are done and then animated, provided a newfound admiration for the craft and painstaking dedication required to bring Disney animation to life.
