Goy
Goy is a local Eritrean artist whom I met in mid-October 2000 through a fellow artist, Phut Asmareno, and both are native to Asmara. Eritrea was my frist stop a self-initiated Africa Development Research Project that would eventually include travels to seven African countries, span more than two years, and culminate in post-graduate Development research at the University of South Africa. I departed Eritrea for Ethiopia in mid-December 2000.
